Shaykh Dr Ahsan Hanif

Shaykh Ahsan was born and raised in Birmingham, UK. He memorised the Qur’an at the age of 13 and has been leading Taraweeh prayers of over 20 years. He earned a scholarship to the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah, where he obtained his first Ijazah in the Qur’an. Since then, he has studies under numerous scholars, gaining further ijazahs, including one in the ten Qira’at. For the past decade, Shaykh Ahsan has been dedicated to Qur’an teaching, a passion for which he is widely known for. He has established well-regarted programmes such as Quran’ic Progrssion and Page by Page of Tafseer. Additionally, he has completed the readings od renowned tafseer work, including Tafseer Al-Jalalayn and Tafsser Al-Sa’di.

Shaykh Ahsan continues to reside in Birmingham with his wife and four children. Three of his children have also memorised the Qur’an, Alhamdulillah, while the youngest is currently on his hidfth journey.
